This seems to be virtually water proof so far, I did add a brick to ease water drainage, though with the attached straps I don’t think the brick is necessary against the winds. We have Santa Ana winds and harsh sun as well as daily sprinkler spray so time will tell how the cover weathers but I felt the cost was a bargain compared to other brands and I enjoy the navy color.Great product especially for the price. It’s fitted but breathable, and very weather resistant!I need to say that this cover is used to cover a outdoor sectional under a covered patio so it has not been rained on yet. We bought it to cover from hard rain and dirt mainly. It works great for our usage.This has been great at keeping my patio furniture dry. Very satistied.Item was as described, material and construction seem sturdy, no issue after some weeks of use taking it on and off frequently. Waterproof, no rips or tears (the original cover that came with the furniture ripped and tore easily). It's too big for my L-shaped sofa but still works well, there are tie-downs to prevent it flying away but the material is heavy enough that I don't think they will often be necessary. As with any cover that shape, it's a bit of a struggle putting it back on by yourself after you remove it completely, but not much can be done about that.We bought a cheaper cover the previous year and it had faded weeks after purchase. This season we set the furniture out and the wind shredded both of our covers. I bought one of these covers just to try and what a difference. We didn't even have to tie them down, the heavy material keeps them in place no matter how strong the wind is and no sun fading.
