This is a nice corporate-type gift that offers a good variety of nuts along with a wooden serving dish that features five small ceramic containers. The nuts--roasted peanuts, California pistachios, salted cashews, almonds with sea salt, and walnuts--were fresh, though the almonds were close to being stale. I particularly enjoyed the cashews which were very fresh.Personally, I would have preferred more nuts and skipped the serving dish. But I am at a point in my life where I'm decluttering and don't need things like this. Others may feel different. The five white ceramic containers fit on the round wood piece, but there is nothing (like grooves or sections) to hold the containers in place. Also the wood piece seems unfinished, like a high school wood shop project. Still, it did a good job of storing the nuts in the containers during shipping. All in all, this would make a nice gift. It is overpriced ($60), but the presentation is quite good.We took this with us to a brewery to snack on while we sat in their beer garden. The nuts were fresh and delicious! I love that the dishes are ceramic and reusable! Makes a great gift or something to keep for yourselves. This Nut Gift Basket | 2 Gifts in 1; Nut Platter AND Elegant Five Section Dish is well packaged, with an attractive box and 5 sections holding separate nuts (peanuts, unpeeled pistachios, walnuts, almonds and cashews) in individual ceramic dishes that all fit together on a wooden base. The set seems very nice, and I would have liked this as a gift for just the plateware, if the nuts had not been included. The reason I'd prefer just the plateware is that the nuts, although fresh tasting, are wrapped in a thick heat-shrink type plastic you normally find on equipment, not food. This could be to protect the dishes, however. Some of my cashews had escaped their shrinkwrapping, which was done a bit crookedly, but didn't take away too much from the final product. Overall, I like this set.Individually wrapped dishes of nuts. Not air tight, but at least entirely encased with wrapping. Overall, well packaged. The dishes sit snug in Styrofoam mold, then underneath is another mold with a basic bamboo tray. There is an info sheet included. The best by date is on the box (a year from now, 06/2023)Bamboo tray has hand cut outs on bottom. Topside has shallow lip for securing the loose dishes. The depth of tray is typical for this purpose. No surprises here.Nuts are fine. I started with pistachios and then oved on to cashews. Everything tastes fine. Lightly salted. I haven't tried the walnuts yet, but I will assume that they are not salted (usually they aren't). I plan to just bake with those. All the others I have been munching on.Lightweight dishes, easy to handle.Overall I think it is a nice assortment, well packaged, fresh, and it appears as it does in the pictures. I odnt rate on price,I didn’t realize the platter was separate dishes. That didn’t effect anything really. Overall the nuts were tasty and a great assortment.I always put out nuts for a party and frequently include nuts in gift baskets, and an assortment tray like this works both both purposes. The nuts themselves are nothing fancy (there's the typical breakage on some cashews, almonds taste kind of woody). It's nice when you can reuse a gift tray like this for ongoing purposes, but this one could be better. The round wooden bottom is very rough (i got a splinter!), and the lip is so shallow the little ceramic cups can slide out of position---and off the wood---pretty easily. This would make a spectacular gift to anyone who loves nuts. This set includes peanuts, walnuts, pistachios, cashews and almonds. Each variety tastes fresh and delicious. I love that the set also includes beautiful ceramic dishes and a bamboo tray for serving because the trays can be used over and over, even after the nuts are gone. Think chips & dip, Veggie tray & dip, meat & cheese platter, fruits & yogurt dip... the possibilities are endless! Well priced at $59.99, too. This is a quality item, beautifully packaged, and would be perfect for gift giving. This gift tray is wrapped nicely for a gift. The outer box is as pictured, and the tray and each ceramic dish is cushioned in custom-cut foam (the good kind that doesn't flake off everywhere). Each dish of nuts is then wrapped in plastic separately. I would be comfortable sending this to someone directly as a gift. The nuts are fresh, tasty, and don't have that "off" flavor of old oil. These are all salted, except for the walnuts. The salt is finely ground, which I like better than coarse salt. The ceramic dishes are well made with no chips or divots in the glazing. The bamboo tray is smooth all around. I would guess that the dishes are dishwasher safe, and the tray is probably ok to wipe clean with a damp cloth.Overall, it's a nice gift set. Great for a nut lover, for an office, or for a group of people.
